Sunflower Field - Grinter Farms
Located halfway between Kansas City and Lawrence on Highway 40, you will find one of the most picturesque settings in Kansas. Ted and Kris Grinter plant roughly one million sunflower seeds in the ground, and the result is a photographers dream. These sunflowers stretch what seems like forever and offers a place for families to relax and enjoy some great photos!
While the farm is free to attend, donations are encouraged. According to the Ginter’s, the sunflowers begin to lose their majesty around the end of September, so hurry up and get down to the farm this weekend before it is too late!
Shuck’s Family Fun Farm
Located in Pleasant Hill, Missouri, Shuck’s Farm is family owned and offers tons of entertainment and activities for all ages.
